Youth Rower
2026 Fall Youth Novice Team - The HS Novice Team is the starting point for athletes new to ERA’s High School Team. This includes 9th graders moving up from the Middle School Team and 9th–12th graders who are new to rowing.
Experienced 8th graders may continue with the Middle School Team or join the HS Novice Team based on a coach’s recommendation.
Through structured training, Novice athletes develop rowing fundamentals, fitness, confidence, and competitive experience before progressing to Varsity.
Athletes are introduced to local and regional competition in an environment that emphasizes growth, teamwork, and personal development.
