Summer 2026 Learn to Row – Middle School (Wk 8 8/10-8/14)

Pacific Rowing Club’s Summer 2026 Learn to Row – Middle School program introduces rising 7th–8th grade athletes to rowing through a fun, supportive, & hands-on experience. Athletes learn the fundamentals of sculling, boat handling, on-water safety, fitness, & teamwork while building confidence on the water. Sessions include technique-focused rowing, games, & basic land fitness training.

No experience required!

Time: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Registration is by week: Families register for individual camp weeks (Week 1, Week 2, etc.). You may enroll in one week or multiple weeks, based on availability. Each week is a separate registration in iCrew.

Weeks Offered:

Week 1: June 22–26
Week 2: June 29–July 3
Week 3: July 6–10
Week 4: July 13–17
Week 5: July 20–24
Week 6: July 27–31
Week 7: Aug 3–7
Week 8: Aug 10–14

Daily Schedule
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in and to be ready on time.

What to Bring

Water bottle (required)
Athletic clothes (layers recommended)
Closed-toe shoes (required)
Sunscreen + hat (recommended)
Optional snack for after camp

Safety + Weather
Rowing is an outdoor water sport and sessions are weather-dependent. Camp sessions may be adjusted due to wind, fog, or other safety conditions. If on-water rowing is not possible, athletes may complete a land-based rowing/fitness session when appropriate.

Attendance
Please update attendance in iCrew as early as possible if your athlete will miss a day. Consistent attendance helps coaches plan equipment and ensure a safe and organized session.
