Adult Rower
Collegiate Seasonal Membership - Summer Season for collegiate students attending school outside Whatcom County, membership until Sept 1, 2025. Independent rowers must be assessed by a WRA Coach prior to signing out equipment.
Learn to Row - Early Morning Summer Session I - Early AM Summer Session, twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 05:15 am - 07:15 am (before the motor boats tear up the lake!!)
Learn to Row - Evening Summer Session I - Evening Summer Session, twice weekly on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 06:15 pm - 08:15 pm.
Learn to Row - Novice Rowing - July 2025 - Evening Novice Rowing Continues - for those who have completed 2 x 4 week sessions or Learn to Row - this is the class for you!! Mon & Wed, 6:15 pm June 30 - July 25
Learn to Row III (Novice Rowing) - evening - June 2025 - LTR III - progressing from LTR I & II, Novice rowing will introduce the rowers to more fluid rowing, continuing to build technical skills but also introduce more continuous rowing with the assistance of experienced Club Members in the boat to help with the set and pace of the boat and the stroke.
WRA Annual Membership - The Whatcom Rowing Association is a nonprofit, community-based rowing club that has served Whatcom County since 2011. We are dedicated to offering individuals of all ages the opportunity to learn the sport of rowing in a safe, fun and beautiful environment. We offer a variety of programs for all age groups and experience levels. Whether you have previous experience or have never touched an oar we have something for you. WRA Annual Membership is required for all adult rowers after the completion of Learn to Row 2 and is priced on an annual basis from January 1 – December 31.
Youth Rower
Experienced Junior Rowing - 12-week fall rowing program with a focus on training and preparing athletes to race at a competitive level while teaching them the life skills of discipline, nutrition, balance, and many others. Open to athletes that have completed our Novice Spring program.

- Days: Monday - Friday
- Time: 4:00-6:00 PM
- No practice on Bellingham Public Schools holidays.
Middle School Rower - Our Middle School program aims to teach the fundamentals of rowing with an emphasis on fun! This program is designed to instruct young athletes on the basics of rowing and foster a positive social environment. On-water rowing time will be balanced with land training and team building.
Open to new athletes in Grades 6-8, no experience necessary.

- No practice on Bellingham Public Schools no school/holidays.
