These future leaders develop commitment, confidence, humility, and strength of character. The youth teams take pride in each other, their friendships, and demonstrate how powerful community can be. 2026 Spring Middle School Pre-Season Warm-up - Our youngest athletes learn the fundamentals of rowing, teamwork, and competition in a fun and age-appropriate environment. These youth develop an appreciation for the joys of outdoor recreation and a love of the sport. This pre-season session is for Middle Schoolers with rowing experience either from the regular season or Summer Learn to Row. Emphasis is on technique development, physical conditioning, and, of course, fun!

2026 Spring Middle School Team - In our recreational programs, we provide our youngest athletes with an enjoyable and age-appropriate environment to learn the essential elements of rowing and teamwork. These budding individuals not only acquire fundamental skills but also cultivate an admiration for the wonders of outdoor recreation and develop a genuine passion for the sport.

Our team warmly welcomes all middle school students aged 12 and above, offering them an inclusive opportunity to be part of our community.

2026 Spring Youth Novice Team - The Novice Team is for rowers grades 8- 12 with no rowing experience, who are moving up from the Middle School program, or were novices in the fall.

Novices spend their first year racing against other first time rowers, before moving up to varsity upon the completion of racing at the Regional Championship.
