Youth Rower
PR3 Registration - Norcal is offering a once a week introduction to rowing.
A PR3 athlete is a para-rower with functional use of their legs, trunk, and arms, allowing them to use a standard sliding seat, formerly known as LTA (Legs, Trunk, and Arms). Athletes must have a verified, permanent physical or visual impairment and compete in Para Rowing using traditional, non-fixed seat rowing equipment
Rowing offers PR3 athletes a powerful avenue to build significant cardiovascular fitness, full-body strength, and improved muscle definition. It provides a fully inclusive, competitive, or recreational sport. Rowing provides high-intensity, low-impact exercise that improves aerobic capacity and strengthens core, legs, and back muscles.
